Context
A critical application platform is hosted in a data center and accessed via multiple production links.
In the event of a network incident, configuration error, or software failure, the operations team must be able to remotely regain control of the equipment to diagnose, fix, and restore services.
Production links alone could not guarantee this capability under all circumstances.
Solution deployed
ielo implemented a dedicated Out-of-Band access, physically and logically separate from the production links.
The solution includes:
- An independent link reserved exclusively for operations
- Secure access to critical equipment (routers, firewalls, switches, servers)
- Simple integration into existing operational procedures
