Secure exchanges between a data center and a regional office

Deployment of 2 Lan-to-Lan connections

Context

An organization operated its critical applications from a data center, with a regional headquarters hosting teams, management systems, and business access.

Maintaining continuous communication between these two sites was essential for both production and day-to-day operations.

Need

  • Secure traffic between the data center and the regional headquarters
  • Eliminate any single point of failure
  • Ensure stable and predictable latency for sensitive applications
  • Provide a simple, transparent, and maintainable network architecture

Solution Deployed

ielo designed and deployed two LAN-to-LAN (E-Line) connections, built over physically distinct routes.

The implemented architecture includes:

  • Two independent links delivered over separate paths
  • Transparent Ethernet transport with no dependency on Internet routing
  • Native integration into the existing network (VLANs, segmentation, internal policies)
  • Continuous monitoring to ensure availability of the connections

Result

Communication between the data center and the regional headquarters is now secure and resilient, with automatic failover in case of an incident on one of the links.

The architecture provides true service continuity while remaining simple to operate for IT teams.

A Lan-to-Lan interconnection designed as a trusted foundation for critical traffic that cannot tolerate interruptions.
