Our commitments & standards

At ielo, we operate a nationwide fiber infrastructure.
Our primary responsibility is therefore simple: to ensure a reliable, high-performance, and fully controlled network, built to last. It is on this solid technical foundation that our environmental, social, and societal commitments are built.
Because a well-designed network consumes less, and serves better.

Our priority: technical performance

A next-generation
nationwide network

We operate a 100% fiber infrastructure, new, homogeneous, and high-capacity, spanning more than 30,000 km, designed, deployed, and operated in-house since 2016. This fully controlled architecture ensures a robust, durable network tailored to the requirements of operators, data centers, and public-sector players.

Technical transparency as a standard

Every fiber route is designed by our Engineering Office according to the required level of diversity, deployed by our teams, integrated into our inventory, and monitored in real time. Traceability is not a promise — it is at the core of our processes.

Responsiveness across the entire lifecycle of your services

Our operations and support teams provide 24/7 coverage, managed from Paris, with nationwide reach through 12 Regional Technical Centers. Interventions are coordinated by our Production team to ensure efficiency, safety, and technical consistency.

Beyond technical performance…

A responsible model

A resource-efficient network by design

Fiber remains the most energy-efficient access technology available today.

It’s a simple fact: it requires less energy to transport the same amount of data. We don’t position this as a “green” argument, but as a starting point. By operating a 100% fiber infrastructure, we mechanically reduce the energy consumption of our network.

In addition, full control over our inventory helps avoid unnecessary network duplication when it is not justified by technical redundancy requirements.

The rest depends on our engineering and operations choices: equipment sharing, targeted interventions, and extended infrastructure lifecycles. This is where our approach to efficiency and restraint truly takes shape.

A social policy at the heart of our model

Engineering, field teams, operations, IT systems, we control the entire value chain to ensure quality, safety, and operational consistency.

This level of control is built on stable in-house teams: all our employees are on permanent contracts, receive continuous training, and are supported in their professional development, with high standards for safety and working conditions.

Security, compliance, resilience: our governance framework

Our governance is built on the security and resilience requirements specific to operators of essential infrastructure.

Regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and DORA structure our internal processes, monitoring, incident management, business continuity, access control, and documentation, to ensure a high level of operational control.

This approach enables us to operate our network with transparency, rigor, and compliance, while strengthening the reliability and resilience of the services we provide to our operator partners, data centers, and institutionnal players.
