Back to business: key events not to miss this autumn

It’s shaping up to be a busy autumn for the telecoms ecosystem.

From Paris to Pau and London, ielo teams will be attending three major industry events: the European Peering Forum (EPF), the Université de la Transition Numérique des Territoires (UTNT) and Capacity Europe.

Three events with different formats and audiences, but all addressing key challenges shaping the networks of today and tomorrow.

European Peering Forum – 14–16 September, Paris

We’re kicking off the season in Paris at the European Peering Forum (EPF).

Every year, EPF brings together Europe’s interconnection community: network operators, infrastructure providers, Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), CDNs, cloud providers and other players that keep data moving across Europe.

It is a key opportunity to discuss the latest developments in peering and, more broadly, the challenges surrounding network performance, resilience and interconnection.

This year, you’ll find the ielo team at the NL-ix booth. And our presence alongside NL-ix is no coincidence: we’ll be using EPF as an opportunity to unveil a joint announcement.

See you in Paris to find out more!

UTNT – 7–8 October, Pau

A few weeks later, we’ll be heading to Pau for the Université de la Transition Numérique des Territoires (UTNT).

Every year, the event brings together public and private stakeholders involved in the digital transformation of French regions and local communities. It provides an opportunity to discuss topics that are particularly important to us at ielo: telecoms infrastructure, digital sovereignty, resilience and control over network infrastructure.

Because behind the growth of digital services, cloud adoption and locally delivered services lies a fundamental question: the infrastructure they rely on.

Building high-performance, sustainable networks close to the regions they serve plays a direct role in enabling local communities to retain greater control over their digital transformation.

The 2026 edition will also be a special one for ielo. We have another very good reason to be in Pau this year… and we’ll have more to share very soon.

Capacity Europe – 13–15 October, London

The final stop on our autumn agenda takes us to London for the 25th edition of Capacity Europe.

Capacity Europe brings together operators, carriers, connectivity providers, cloud players, data centres and technology companies from around the world. It’s the ideal setting to discuss international connectivity and expansion across the European market.

For ielo, the event is also a great opportunity to meet international players looking to grow their business in France.

To extend their coverage across the French market, these players need an operator with end-to-end control over its infrastructure. With a fibre network designed and operated by our own teams, we make it easier for them to deploy their services in France, with a streamlined operational chain and fewer intermediaries. This approach makes it easier to manage their operations across France while providing greater control over costs.

Planning to expand your presence in France? Our teams will be in London to discuss your connectivity needs.

Where will we see you this autumn?

Paris, Pau, London: three stops that also reflect the different levels at which digital infrastructure is built.

From interconnection between European networks to connectivity across French regions and supporting international players entering the French market, these events provide valuable opportunities to discuss key industry challenges, share experiences and help shape the networks of tomorrow.

If you’re attending EPF, UTNT or Capacity Europe, come and meet the ielo team. 🤝
