ielo acquires Neuronnexion's fibre networks in Amiens and Saint-Quentin

ielo announces the acquisition of Neuronnexion's fibre-optic infrastructure, a regional operator based in the Hauts-de-France region. This acquisition forms part of ielo's growth strategy, which includes investing €90 millions to extend its network footprint across 95 French metropolitan areas within the next two years.

With the acquisition and integration of Neuronnexion’s metropolitan fibre networks in Amiens and Saint-Quentin, ielo continues to expand its national coverage. The transaction adds 50 km of fibre-optic infrastructure to ielo’s backbone network, which already spans more than 2,000 km.

As a result, businesses located in the Amiens and Saint-Quentin metropolitan areas will gain access to ielo’s high-value connectivity services and next-generation infrastructure.

"Our objective is to invest €160 million in the development of our fibre-optic infrastructure over the next five years, including €90 million within the next two years. The acquisition of Neuronnexion's networks is fully aligned with this growth strategy and reinforces our ambition to become France's leading neutral infrastructure operator. It also enables us to increase our network footprint across the Somme and Aisne regions while strengthening our presence nationwide."
Julien Ducros Deputy CEO, ielo
"When we began deploying our own fibre-optic network in Amiens and later in Saint-Quentin in 2015, our goal was to make shared fibre services (FTTH Pro) accessible to as many professionals and businesses as possible. Today, transferring this network to the ielo Group allows us to continue pursuing that vision through a partnership built around an ambitious national deployment project."
Dominique Rousseau Co-Managing Director, Neuronnexion
