ielo strengthens its presence at Scaleway's DC5/95 Datacenter (Val-d'Oise)

By connecting Scaleway's DC5 data center via a second fibre-optic route, ielo is further strengthening its presence at the Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône site as a neutral infrastructure operator, enabling it to better support the rapid growth of this strategic facility.

In 2018, ielo participated in the launch of Scaleway’s latest data center by providing connectivity as soon as the facility entered service through its western fibre route.

Located in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, in the Val-d’Oise region near Paris, the 24 MW DC5 data center was designed to meet the growing needs of hyperscale cloud providers. It incorporates innovative technologies aimed at significantly reducing both PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) and WUE (Water Usage Effectiveness), helping deliver greater energy efficiency and sustainability.

Thanks to the accelerated expansion of its fibre infrastructure over recent months, ielo has now connected DC5 through a second, fully diverse route, further securing its presence at the site.

By reinforcing its telecommunications Point of Presence (PoP) with additional network equipment, ielo is now able to deliver its full portfolio of services to operators and local businesses from the facility.

Today, ielo provides dual-route connectivity to virtually all major data centers across the Paris region and interconnects these sites through its own fibre network, which has been continuously developed and operated since 2014.
